DANGERS OF PUTTING OFF TREATMENT FOR HEEL PAIN

Note from Dr. Zuckerman on the
Dangers of Putting Off Any Treatment

Dear Friend,

Everytime that you place weight on the heel and foot and you feel pain, you are causing ripping of the tendon fibers and more damage to the foot.

You are walking and standing differently, due to the pain in your foot. This will, in time, cause knee, hip and lower back problems and pain.

The longer you put off treatment, the longer it will take to heal your foot. Would you put off taking antibiotics and hope that an infection will just heal or go away?

EPWT- lithotripsy of the foot- is the answer, if you don't want to be off your feet and endure months of healing with surgery.

Take the time to care for your feet! You only have one pair of feet and they have to last you a lifetime. Ignore them and your joy of walking will go away.

Sincerely yours,

Dr. David Zuckerman

P.S. Remember… See a Doctor and don't treat your feet by yourself. I have learned from experience that even a doctor treating himself, has a fool for a doctor. You need to have someone treat you that has a medical degree, not friend or family members, and especially not yourself. They mean well, but usually only cause you more pain.
